Well, it's still not winter. Right now it is 81° outside, with a forecast of partly cloudy, but windy. Of course, as usual it feels like it's 83° outside though. There is a dew point of 66° and a percentage of 61% humidity, and in the next six hours it will be mostly sunny and windy, with temperatures falling to near 77°, which sounds a hell of a lot better than 81°, but still not winter. I predict a cold front coming sometime in the next 11 days, judging by last years Halloween weather was absolutely freezing, from what I can recall.
For those of you who don't know, tonight if you're nocturnal, you can witness Halley's Comet. For those who don't know, Halley's Comet (according to Wikipedia), is the best-known of the short-period comets and is visible from Earth every 75–76 years.[2][10] Halley is the only short-period comet that is clearly visible to the naked eye from Earth, and thus the only naked-eye comet that might appear twice in a human lifetime.[11] Other naked-eye comets may be brighter and more spectacular, but will appear only once in thousands of years. According to a site on the comet, "The shower should be at its peak the night of Saturday, Oct. 20, until just before dawn on Oct. 21. This year, the moon will be setting
at approximately midnight, which will keep the sky darkened enough
that—barring cloud cover—you should be able to see up to 15 meteors per
hour."
I probably won't be able to witness the comet this time, sadly enough, but if by any chance I do I'll be sure to chronicle my experience.
I haven't seen that freak in the plague outfit lately, which honestly concerns me. But something strange has been happening all the same. Ever since I've been looking into the Binaural beats, I've had a song in my head. It's simple enough, but I hear it in my dreams, and when I wake up I'm humming it. I need to drop this investigation. It's not worth losing sleep over it. I need to focus on the weather, I'm not even minoring in audio. Why do I care so much?
Until next time,
Carson.
